In the ‘Cabinet of Wonders’ you will discover the oeuvre of Rembrandt Jordan in a completely new setting, next to photography by Johan Blommaert, poetry from Antoon Van den Braembussche, masterpieces from the collection of Akanthos Art Gallery and extraordinary fossils by Granada Gallery.
This interplay of artworks, jewellery and ancient artifacts will give rise to a fascinating interaction and create a dialogue between different genres and eras.
It is a unique opportunity to discover the work of Rembrandt Jordan in this exceptional surrounding.
For the ‘Cabinet of Wonders’ Rembrandt has invited and selected significant artists and pieces to create this unique project that brings together great art from the past and the present.
In addition, he will also premiere an exclusive jewellery collection, Star Pyramid, and showcase Conversations in Time, a new art project in which the artist places his own work in relation to objects of the past.
The ‘Cabinet of Wonders’ is located at Schuttershofstraat 29, 2000 Antwerp.
It will be a temporary space, opening on Saturday August 10.
The Cabinet will be open untill Saturday 28/9/2019
Opening hours are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 11.00 untill 18.00h.
